Financial wake up calls come in many different shapes and sizes. I have had several in my financial life and I’m sure you have as well. They are not pleasant, but they serve an incredible purpose!
As we go through life we begin to believe that our reality looks different than it really is. It’s part of human nature, especially our financial reality. And then…we get turned down for a loan, we lose our job, we get that overdraft notice from our bank, or a health issue pops up…you get the picture. In the middle of a crisis we suddenly get serious about our finances. Not a good time to do planning. Our emotions are running high and most of the time we want to react to the pain of the moment rather than plan for the future. Your Advisors are invaluable during these pain points. Be sure to consult them and confirm almost every decision. Making emotional financial decisions often lead to regret.
So, if you are watching this and in the middle of a financial wake up call, get some help and consult your Advisors. We would count it an honor to travel with you through the moment and help out. Things are rarely as bleak as they may appear. A free hour consult may just be what the Doctor ordered!
If you are not in the middle of a pain point, awesome! Now is the time to review your financial life. We can never fully plan for all of life’s surprises, but we can stay tuned in to the present reality on a consistent basis. “Staying in the Moment” with our money provides a solid foundation to begin making decisions when a crisis hits. Call today. We are ready to meet you and help with a free hour of advice.
